Ellen Kosinski, DVM
Dr. Ellen C. Kosinski is originally from Redford, Michigan, and has known since 6th grade she wanted to be a veterinarian. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Michigan, and is a 1994 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After 11 years in small animal private practice as a full-time associate veterinarian in both Michigan and then Ohio, she began her own business as an independent full-time relief veterinarian, serving many practices in the greater Akron area. She regularly attends the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Forum as her favorite conference for continuing education.
She has lived in Ohio since 1999, and currently lives in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio with her husband Joe, an afghan hound named Windy, two border collies named K.D. and Penne, and two cats named Slush and Archer. Her pets are her family! She is particularly fond of rabbits, and has a special male rabbit named Ted that lived to be 16 years old. he passed away Dec. 5, 2009.
This year, Dr. Kosinski is celebrating her 19th year in small animal practice. She hopes that the next 20 years will be full of even more of the adventure, compassion, empathy, love and professional growth as her career has held so far! She welcomes the opportunity to help Dr. Pepin in providing quality and compassionate care to all of Tender Loving Care’s patients.
